Next Public Reading for After Shocks:
The Poetry of Recovery for Life-Shattering Events

After Shocks contributors Satyendra Srivastava, Marjory Heath Wentworth, and Susan Meyers will join editor Tom Lombardo for a reading at the inaugural book festival of the Morgridge International Reading Center, University of Central Florida, Orlando. The reading is scheduled for 3:30 PM, April 17, in Room 105 of the Psychology Building on the UCF campus. The reading is open to the public. Srivastava, the distinguished poet/lecturer from Cambridge University, was born in India and lives in London and Cambridge. He writes in Hindi and English and travels widely to read his poems.
Wentworth, the poet laureate of South Carolina, published her new collection Endless Repetition of an Ordinary Miracle (Presss 53, 2010).
Meyers, won the the South Carolina Book Award for her collection Keep and Give Away (University of South Carolina Press, 2008).
